Most of these pictures came from Philae Temple in Aswan.  This temple was flooded when the Egyptian and Russian governments built the Aswan Dam.  They then realized they should preserve this temple, so they dragged it out of the water and re-assembled it on an "island", i say this because it was just a hill before the flooding, about 1000 feet away.
